Admissions and Transfers

How do you apply for a place at Rushwick CE Primary School?

Starting school in Reception
The parents of ALL pupils seeking a place at Rushwick School, are required to complete a Worcestershire Local Authority Common Application Form (PA1), by the closing date.

This can be done online www.worcestershire.gov.uk/schooladmissions

Once your child has been offered a place by Worcestershire County Council, we will write inviting your child to join us for preliminary visits (prior to admittance in the September). We also invite parents to an information session in which we outline arrangements for Starting School, talk through a typical day and answer any questions.

When there are more applications than places, children are admitted in order of priority as determined by Worcestershire County Council’s Admission Policy.

As Rushwick Primary  School is part of the DOWMAT further information can also be found:

DOWMAT Admissions

Should you wish to appeal the decision of your child's school place then admission appeals must be heard by 28th February, please use this link Appealing a school place offer | Worcestershire County Council for appeals.

How do you transfer your child to Rushwick CE Primary School?
Where families with children of school age are moving into Rushwick or wish to transfer their child to our school, parents should contact us at the earliest opportunity. Throughout the year places do become available as families relocate out of the area, the school office will be able to advise you on current places available in each year group.

If you would like to apply for a place at any other time in your child's education the link you will need is:
